Rising Together: Lessons from Pintig Lab’s Data Innovation Portfolio for Data-Driven Solutions

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is hosting this event in partnership with the Analytics Association of the Philippines.

The UNDP Philippine Country Office launched Pintig Lab in March 2020, a multi-stakeholder network of doctors, economists, and data scientists tasked with providing data-driven systems and policy insights to the government to support the COVID-19 response and recovery strategy. Since its

inception, many of its initiatives have already been tested and proven to be beneficial in generating significant insights using innovative data science methodologies.

This stakeholders' forum will highlight the key projects of Pintig Lab and share the lessons learned with its partners, including international, local, academic, and government. It aims to call for support for building data analytics and data science communities for COVID-19 response and recovery and long-term development and to inspire engagement from various stakeholders to participate in a movement to share data and use data solutions in creating better lives as the country recovers from COVID-19.

AAP's President & Trustee, Colin Christie, opens the program. Dominic Ligot, AAP Trustee, will also moderate the panel discussion on "Building and Sustaining Data Communities for Better Lives."
